In January 2012 our Choir were very happy to welcome Rhiannon Williams Hale as our new Accompanist. Rhiannon has accompanied many choirs and artistes in this country and on tour to countries as far afield as Australia .Since 2002, Rhiannon has been Musical Director of the 'Ynysybwl Ladies Choir'.Born in Cardiff 1976 and brought up in Barry, Rhiannon received her early education through the medium of Welsh before attending the Bishop of Llandaff High School. Her early career began as a singer, achieving the prestigious title of '1989 National BET Choirgirl of the Year' before receiving tuition as a part-time scholarship student at the Welsh College of Music & Drama.

The Choir consists of over 40 children who travel from many of the surrounding areas.It is a mixed choir of very committed,hard working young people.

We practice every Saturday morning at Plasnewydd Junior School in Maesteg who very kindly let us use their building

The choir has been involved in many high profile performances and has travelled as far away as Germany and all over Wales and England.

This year we have a very busy diary and are ever grateful for the support and help of Choir members & their families.
